    Control Panel Release Note — 1.1.49

    Improvements

    • Improved AutoLeil update reliability with better retry handling and timeout protection.

    • Added protection against frozen temperature readings while heating.

    • Improved idle OFF safety behavior.

    • Improved Wi-Fi connection failure handling with more accurate error messages.

    • Improved logging.

    Summary

    This release improves system safety and reliability when the sauna is heating, stopped, or idle.

    Key improvements include stronger heater shutdown handling, better protection against frozen temperature readings, improved idle OFF behavior, and more reliable AutoLeil update handling.

    Wi-Fi setup and connection handling have also been improved, including clearer failure messages and safer credential handling.

    Power Board Release Note — 1.1.49

    Improvements

    • Improved heater shutdown response when the sauna target temperature is set to zero.

    • Heater power is now always switched off immediately when the sauna is stopped, by the added safety measures.

    • Heating relays are forced off during this shutdown condition.

    • Non-heating functions continue to work as before.

    Summary

    This release improves Power Board responsiveness and heater shutdown reliability.

    When the sauna is stopped and the target temperature is set to zero, heater power is switched off immediately while non-heating functions remain available as before.

  • Yesterday, a server disruption caused miscommunication within the Saunum Leil Control and AutoLeil Control systems. We know how important your sauna experience is, and we’re truly sorry for the interruption this caused.

    The team in Tallinn has been working around the clock to restore full service. They are also actively addressing the remaining AutoLeil system issues, with a planned update rollout scheduled in the coming days to ensure everything continues to run smoothly.

    We understand the downtime has been inconvenient for users. We apologise for the disruption and appreciate your patience as we work to ensure the system is fully reliable moving forward.

    In the meantime, you will need to reconnect your wi-fi from your Saunum Leil Control Panel (touch screen). Check that your latest software updates are:

    • Control Panel v.1.1.38

    • Power Unit v1.1.48

    • AutoLeil v.10.7.0
